Meet Our Office Manager, Julie Shock Julie,
who has been married over 18 years to husband Wesley, is a mother of
four children. Her family is the light of her life and they are so
close that friends and family have often likened them to the TV
sitcom “The Brady Bunch”. She is very active in her church and not
only is she a singer in the Praise Team Band and a member of the
adult hand bell choir but she also teaches a third grade hand chime
class. She also loves to read books and because she reads over 1000
words per minute (yes, really!) she’s always looking for a new book
to read. Julie first started working in the dental field over 10
years ago as a receptionist. She quickly moved into the office
manager position because of her skill with managing the day to day
activities in the office as well as her cheerful and caring attitude
with patients. She likes to tell her patients that although “we are
serious about your oral health care, expect to enjoy a lot of
laughter at our office”. Julie’s experience in the dental field
certainly makes her a very valuable asset to our team and she looks
forward to meeting you. |

Meet Elizabeth Hasty, Our Dental Assistant Elizabeth
was born and raised in Hapeville and so she has the honor of being
our only Georgia Peach. She is a very easy going person with a
quirky (yes, we had to look it up too!) yet fun personality. She is
single mother and the love of her life is 11 year old daughter
MacKenzie who is a major overachiever. Mom is proud to brag that
MacKenzie is an honor student in gifted classes, a member of the
track team, plays a musical instrument and is the president of her
4H club at her school. (Hmmm, we often wonder if the hospital gave
MacKenzie to the wrong Mom and she just happens to look identical to
her). Elizabeth has worked in the dental field for over 7 years and
when it comes to her patients they are her #1 priority and she gives
them is 150% of her attention. She not only loves working with our
patients to help them achieve better oral health but also to just
sit and chat with them and get to know them better. This helps her
understand what the patient is looking for so that as a team, we can
be assured that our patient’s needs are met. She is an avid hunter
and enjoys archery as much as she does shooting a rifle. Her
favorite thing to do is cook and she says that if she weren’t in the
dental field, her dream would be to live on the beach and run her
own beach side restaurant. Let’s see, have fun everyday with Julie
and Dr. Boag or live on the beach? Tough choice! |
